Dinosaur Journey Museum
North America’s largest dinosaurs once roamed this land, leaving treasures that are still being discovered. At Dinosaur Journey Museum, you’ll see real fossils, cast skeletons and robotic reconstructions of dinosaurs. There’s a sandbox for making your own dinosaur tracks and a “quarry site” where kids can uncover actual Jurassic dinosaur bones. Within walking distance of Monument RV Resort, this is a favorite with many families.

FruitaFruita’s charming “hometown” character is sure to captivate you. Walk through the historic downtown or take a self-guided tour of dinosaur excavations at Riggs Hill. Shop at the weekly farmers market and enjoy the produce this area is so famous for, from sweet corn to peaches. Come during one of our many festivals for an especially lively time.

Grand Junction– Although Grand Junction is the regional hub for Western Colorado and Eastern Utah, its small town character has been carefully preserved.
